About us

Larry and Rosalie the “La” and “Rosa” in LaRosa’s opened their first restaurant in Winchester Center in the 70’s, when Jason and Lisa were little kids. Later, when Jason wanted to open a restaurant of his own, he wanted to honor his parents, follow the tradition, and open another LaRosa’s.

Eight years ago, Jason opened his first location in Billerica, then moved one year later across the street to where we are today in Wilmington where he stayed for seven years as primarily a takeout location. We now have the capacity to seat more than 100 people in our new location, with a cafe, dining room, function room, bar under construction, and a liquor license currently in process.

Scratch Kitchen: Most of our products are made in-house throughout the day. Because of this, when we run out of an item, we may be unable to re-fill it the same day. That is one of the downsides to running a scratch kitchen.

The upside is that your food will always be fresh, when you dine at Cucina LaRosa's! Thank you for appreciating your fresh food!
